Frontier Communications putting its efforts to increase corporate customers – introduced B2B Wi-Fi Service

Frontier Communication Corp, aiming small and mid-sized businesses, has announced a wireless network service Frontier Simply Wi-Fi Secure on Monday.

The Norwalk, Connecticut-based company said the access point of new cloud-managed Wi-Fi service is able to handle dozens of devices connected to the network across an area of 3,500 square foot.

The service is designed to market it to hospitality, professional services and retail segments of the businesses and contains feature to control indoor cameras that can be viewed locally as well as through remote streaming.

The wireless company provides two modes of Frontier Simply Wi-Fi Secure LT for light traffics and Frontier Simply Wi-Fi Secure XT for extreme traffics enabling customers to choose a desired service, depending upon their requirements on a specific site or expected data usages.

With Frontier Simply Wi-Fi Secure, company has been providing a solution for business to overcome the administrating burden to manage networks and equipments to provide an access to a secure and reliable private internal Wi-Fi network to their staff, customers and guests, said Daniel Peiretti, senior vice president of commercial product and marketing for Frontier Communications.

It took our team a year less than a typical cycle required to develop its very first of managed B2B solutions which offers bandwidth management, business level performance, security and reliability, he added.

Frontier Communication has been strongly focusing on corporate customers as its commercial business is gradually declining, as its revenue from that segment declined to $942 million in the fourth quarter 2018 which remained less than revenue of $1.09 billion by consumer business while it reported a total revenue of $2.12 billion in that quarter.

Also its commercial business was holding about 411,000 business customers during fourth quarter which also decline from 422,000 customers the company was holding during third quarter of last year.
